I just love a dewy look in the summer time! Especially now with all the heat, we tend to go for lighter coverage. I always love a bit of highlight. Pixi Glow-y Gossamer Duos come with two shades in each compact: light and slightly darker. The finish is amazing and flawless! You know the type of finish that usually gives you a liquid formula? That’s the one you’re getting with Pixi Glow-y Gossamer! 

The first shade in Delicate Dew. The stunning lightest pink highlighter without that ‘too cool’ undertone which can sometimes look ashy and generally not a good look. This one’s perfect, very light yet very sparkly. The second is little darker, warm golden hue yet when mixed with the light pink.

The next duo called Subtle Sunrise comes with champagne and slightly darker copper shade. These shades are perfect to compliment those golden red smokey eyes. It can also be usedin the inner corner of your eyes as well as on the cheeks and the bridge of the nose! The darker shade is almost coppery. 

Beautifully applied with a fan or highlighter brush, Pixi Glos-y Gossamer duos work also with the fingers thanks to the buttery texture. Whatever your method of application, you’ll find yourself with an incredible glow.

This box contained Pixi’s Black Lacquer Lash Primer, Large Lash Mascara, Lash Line Ink, Eye Define Waterline, Eye Bright Liner, and four colors of the Endless Silky Eye 

There is a  Eye Bright Liner, which is a nude shade that helps brighten your eyes when used on the inner rim. It does a great job of making my eyes look bigger. I found this a little more subtle than A white that I have used in the past to create the same effect.

The Lash Line Ink is probably my favorite product, I do like to do a small flick on the outer corner of my eye, and I have always preferred to do that with a felt liner. I just find it a lot easier as there is more control. This too had great staying power and no smudging.

I have been trying out Scent & Co this week, this is a fragrance subscription service that allows you to try out a different fragrance each month, this is a great way to try out new scents and see which ones work best for you. Without having to buy a full sized bottle

The packaging is great it comes in a sleek looking tube that is perfect for putting in your handbag

Each month you can replace the bottle which easily fits in side. You can see which fragrance you have in there by looking at the side of the bottle. i went for Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille for my first fragrance choice. I have liked the smell of Tom Fords fragrances although I have never actually got round to purchasing one. This was a great way for me to try it out.

I do like the fragrance it lasts really well. its definitely an unusual scent and not something that I would normally go for. But i do really like it. It has been in my handbag all week and is just great for on the go top ups.

I received another exciting package, which definitely improved my Monday!  

It was this beautiful package from Pixi, Pixi always come up with amazing PR packages and this certainly did not disappoint! One year after the launch of the original Pixi Pretties collaborations, they partnered with several YouTube beauty influencers to launch all new products! The latest launches are in collaboration with Dulce Candy, Chloé Morello and Weylie Hoang.

I just really can't get over how pretty this package is... Or quite how big it is! I struggled to get this into one shot!

Palette Chloette - The palette of Chloé Morello has struck me the most. Neutral eye shadows and pink blushes are quite my thing. In addition to 3 beautiful blushes, there are 3 pairs of eye shadows containing all the shimmering shades (which can also serve as highlighters) I love a multi use product! There is also a trio of matte shades for the eyebrows, linings or contours. The colors are so pretty and portable, nothing too pigmented or bright. Eye shadow are overall pretty good, I would have liked there to be some more matte, especially if they are going to be used as brow powders. But I think she did a good job making this palette a complete face that is not too cumbersome. She has also created a gloss lip gloss that is beautiful on itself or layered on other lip products.

Coffee Con Dulce - This is again a lovely palette. I love that she has designed a universal palette that works for your face and eyes. It's A really affordable price for the amount of product included.. This is ideal for all skin tones. For shades that do not work as a highlight for you specifically, they make really lovely eye shadows. It is a powder with the consistency of the cream and these are really pigmented and intense. 

Dulce's Lip Candy - Dulce has also created a palette of lips as part of her collection. These also look beautify really wearable shades and they have a lovely pigment to them. However, I am not really a fan of lipstick palettes as I feel that of all of my makeup I fell that lipstick is the item that needs to be topped up the most and its not really all that practical to be taking a palette with you day to day 

Dimensional Eye Creator Palette -  Weylie's palette is a daily palette that appeals to most of us, as it has the most lovely everyday colours. It's also the idea size if you're traveling a lot or even just throwing your purse for makeup on the go. After all, there are not too many neutral pallets. Nope! It also includes a black double-ended kohl pencil and liquid eyeliner.

I am really looking forward to getting plenty more use out of these items, I can seem them been a favorite on my vanity!

I have finally been able to get my hands on this beautiful palette from Fenty Beauty! This is the first thing that I have tried from the collection and I have to say that I am impressed!

The packaging is beautiful even the outer box is gorgeous it is a lovely purple colour with an iridescent sheen to it, such a shame to throw this away, it currently looks lovely on top of my vanity table.

The packaging of the palette itself is very colorful to say the least and it is a study plastic with a decent sized mirror on the inside which is always a bonus for me especially if i'll be taking it traveling with me!

Now for the actual shadows themselves, they are definitely very vibrant and have a lovely shimmer to them. I have read some reviews that that have too much glitter and not enough pigment but I have not found this to be the case. They are all very pigmented and leave just enough shimmer for a lovely evening look. I probably would not reach for this palette for a more subtle or daytime look but that is definitely not what this palettes is aimed at! They are nice and blendable and they stayed put all evening.

Overall I am very impressed with this palette I hope that it will encourage me to be a bit braver with my choice of colours when it comes to eye shadow, as I do have a bit of staying safe and nutural

I heard about this great website The Personalised Gift Shop, which I thought was great for those unusual gift ideas, I think that they are that little bit more special when they are personalised! They make me feel like more thought went into that present making it just for you.

They sent me a selection of their products to try, some where what I would describe as skincare there was the Rose Hip Oil Blotting Paper and Skincare Blotting Paper Vitamins C & E, these are blotting papers that are infused with rose hip oil and the second with added Vitamins C and E all of which are great for your skin!

They also sent a Bamboo Charcoal Blotting Paper, which to is great for blemish prone skin

The next few blotting papers are makeup ones, the conveniently contains makeup actually on the paper itself, which I found to be really handy! The first 2 are blush papers: Blush Blotting Paper shade Montecito and Shade Sunset BLVD these leave a lovely flushed look to your face.

Next there was a Foundation Blotting Paper Shade Golden Glow and a Highlighter Blotting Paper Shade Crystal Cove these were also great for little on the go touch ups or added that little glow when needed!

I was kindly sent over some of Bilou's range to sample out, this is a range of skincare from Germany, that is now available in the UK, and is stocked in Superdrug stores.

The Bilou range has been designed and developed by German Beauty Blogger Bibi’s Beauty Palace. All of the range is 100% Vegan and the formula is super creamy and nourishing.

These are the selection of shower foams, they all smell amazing and the packaging is really cute!

Both the shower and moisturising cream have a mousse-foam texture, great for lathering up in the shower. (plus perfect for shaving your legs) The consistency is similar to that of the Imperial Leather shower foams.

The Cream Foams, were something different for me as I had never tried a foam moisturiser before, but I was really impressed. The body cream mousse makes moisturising really easy. I’ve found that my skin still feels hydrated at the end of the day and is left with a gorgeous scent which lasts really well, and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky.

The body sprays come in equally pretty packaging, I was sent two of the scents one been Coco Cocktail and the other Fizzy Berry. They are both lovely sweet fragrances that last a really long time for a body spray.

You're given 60 credits every month to spend in the current online edit and products can be from 10-30 credits each, depending on the size and brand . Caudalie Divine Oil (15ml travel size - 15 credits)

I have been using more multi-purpose oils lately, I have not yet tried this brand and these travel sized bottles come in so handy. You can use it on the body, face and hair, and I generally like to use a few drops on the ends and lengths of my hair as a leave-in conditioning treatment.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence (50ml travel size - 15 credits)

I found this to be a great texture I used it before my usual moisture and it left my skin feeling really smooth and glowing.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum (10ml travel size - 15 credits)

This works well with the essence mentioned above for a little more of a boost

The Peel & Polish is a resurfacing concentrate mask. It contains 6% lactic acid, witch hazel water, panax ginseng root extract, papaya extra, sugar cane, sugar maple extract, cucumber fruit extract, orange fruit extract, lemon fruit extract, and vaccinium myrtillus fruit extract. 

You can use this 2-3 times a week, for 5 minutes each time. It is slightly grainy, which I like but isn't to harsh on my face, so you can use this as an exfoliator by gently massaging this into your skin

Because of the grainy texture, I found this to be hard to spread on the skin as a mask. I was surprised to find that it didn’t tingle too much, I could feel it was there and it made my skin feel very clean and almost tight. As I was rinsing this off. My skin was left feeling smoother, and looking brighter. My skin was so soft!

I am looking forward to trying the longer ones, I think I will be getting on with these with a little more practice, but so far i'm impressed.
