There is just one button on the unit which makes it really easy to use, you press once for the first setting twice for the second and then the third press turns the unit off. There is also a cap to keep it clean

It is so easy to use

1. Apply PMD-Kiss smart lip Plumping serum onto clean, dry lips. (Use only on the lips)

2. Power on PMD-Kiss, place it firmly & directly onto your lips creating a tight seal for suction

3. Use PMD-Kiss in the 6 sections of your lips and you will hear and feel PMD-Kiss working

4. Allow PMD-Kiss to pulse 15-20 times on each section of your lips. You will be able to hear the pulses.

It is totally painless which to be honest the first time I used it I wasn't expecting much from this as it didn't feel as though it was doing anything at all. but when I saw the result I was defiantly impressed.

The results are not permanent but I have notices that they are lasting longer each time that I am using it. My lips also feel really soft. This time of year I start to get really dry lips. I think that the serum is most certainly helping with this

I can tell a difference in using this for just 1 week I have not been using it every day, just as and when. As it is re-chargeable I have been able to use it more as I have not had to be tied down with wires!

Big Sexy Hair

I have been sent some lovely items from Sexy Hair, I have used their products before but they were part of a different range. Again this time I have not been disappointed, these are really lovely products. I received:

I have pretty thick hair any way but as it is fairly heavy so it can fall flat. for this look I used the spray mousse on damp hair, I then blow dried it upside down as I have found that this gives me the most volume. I then loosely sectioned my hair and curled it using a 1.5 inch barrel curler. I finished with the volumizing hair spray.

The style lasted well, I have found that if I do not use any product before I curl my hair it does tend to drop out, so the mousse definitely helped

I have used the thickening spray when I have wore my hair straight, this has created more volume at the root to, and has not weighed my hair down or made it feel greasy which I have found some products have dine in the past

#PixiPretties Favorites

So I have received another generous package from Pixi Beauty, this contains all the must have products from their PixiPretties collection which was in collaboration with some great bloggers and influencers

This included the Strobe and Bronze palette, This was in collaboration with Maryam Maquilage. This is a great pallet combining both highlighting and contouring, great for creating a natural glow and a sun kissed look. I have previously used this palette a lot it has a perfect range of shades for me and is really blend-able.

There was also included a bottle of Pixi's Glow Tonic, I have already mentioned in previous posts how much I love this product, its a great toner that leaves my skin feeling so soft

The Glow-y Powder in the shade Rome Rose is also included, this is a great blush but also adds a hit of glow thanks to its shimmery gold pigments. I really like this product as its really a 2 in 1 product and I'm all about saving that bit of extra time in a morning!

Next up is the Double Cleanse cleanser, in collaboration with Caroline Hirons. I was so happy to see this included as mine has almost ran out! I really do love this product, its just such a great way to remove your makeup at the end of the day without loosing moisture in your skin.

The final item was the Get The Look Its Eye Time eye shadow palette, in collaboration with ItsJudyTime. I love this palette it has some lovely shades with I think will be great for the upcoming autumn. They are really nice warm toned earthy shades. There is a good mix of matte and shimmer shades and they are all really creamy and blend able. They are not as pigmented as some brands that I have tried, which does mean that they can take a bit more work to reach the desired colour. But as they are so blend-able it is easy to build up the colour, just takes a bit longer to get there. I am very happy with the wearablity of the shades they stay put all day!

Makeup Revolution New-trals vs Neutrals

There's a mix of matte and shimmer shades in this palette, which I really love. It has enough variation that you can create a complete look with just this palette...it has highlight shades, matte transitions/crease, and lid colors. I tend to not wear shimmery shades for day time wear but do love them for an evening, this pallets is great for travelling with both options in one.

It also comes with a double ended brush rather than one of those sponge-tipped applicators which defiantly prefer, most of my Makeup Revolution palettes on the past have come with the sponge applicator so this is a great improvement especially for a £6.99 palette. It's honestly not the best brush, but it's nice to have just in case!

The colour pay off is OK? Its not the best if i was to be comparing it to say my Urban Decay Naked pallets which are one of my favorite brands, but this is a £40 + pallet! If you are comparing it to other drugstore options i think that this does extremely well.

The shimmer shades are not quite as punchy and there is a little bit of fall out there but overall they are very good. The matte shades are a lot more pigmented, and both are really bendable. I have found that it does work better over a primer, I think that this does make all the difference to the look, and the longevity of the wear. I have been impressed that it has stayed up all day. I have used other Makeup Revolution pallets and I have not been blown away with how well they wear but I have to say that this pallet is up there with other more expensive options.

I do think that colour wise this is a good dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Pallet or the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette

Eye Of Horus Cosmetics - Brow Fibre

I have a love hate relationship when it comes to my eyebrows, I know that they are not that bad eu natural, but my teenage years spent plucking the to about 1 hair line thick, has not done them any favors! They have thickened up, thank goodness but they are not even which is my issue.

I have used brow gels before and like how they hold my brows in place to I was excited when the brand Eye Of Horus agreed to send be a sample of their brow gel.

I like the fact that this is a fibre gel, so it ,makes the brows appear thicker as it holds them in place. it is also tinted which helps define your brows that little bit more. it comes in 3 shades ( light medium and dark) I chose the dark shade.

The packing is lovely its in a matte tube which I think makes it stand out really everything in my makeup drawer seems to be shiny! I love the applicatior brush to it is a perfect size! It kind of reminds be of the Benefit Gimme Brow. Its the perfect size as I have found some brow gels, the brush to be too big and I just end up making a mess!

I'm not going to lie and say that this is a miracle product, I think that as with any eyebrow gel you do have to have fairly thick brows to begin with, its not going to adear to hair that simply isn't there. I used my Makeup Revlution Brow Pomade, which I love by the way to define the shape the bottom of my eyebrows, which is the bit I alays find to be uneven, I then used the gel over the top, I think that it doe give me lovely defined brows, I'm pleased to say that they lasted me all day to!

This to was an amazing consistency, I have to admit, that I did not read the packaging and thought that this would be a lip gloss, witch I rarely wear at the moment. It went on like a gloss then dried matt, which I love, it also stayed on pretty well. It is probably a bit more "pinky" than I would normally go for but it is overall a nice versatile shade

If you had this in your makeup bag I think that you could get a way with blending it in with the applicator. i have used this at home though so used my usual beauty blender and it gave great coverage on my under eye area .

Love Me Beauty Aug 17

This months Love Me Beauty bag has been one of my favorites so far I have to say. It contains products from Kat Von D, plus produts from a brand called Buxom, which is new to the UK and has recently launched in Debenhams.

Each month the Love Me Beauty membership is worth 60 credits and you simply chose the item you want inside your box from a selection of products ranging from hair, body, nails, skincare and make-up with majority of the items being full sized or travel sized. You can now add on extra credit packages as well as the opportunity to treat yourself all month long! You can also expect to see your chosen picks inside an ever so cute make up bag to match the theme.

The first product is from Buxom, it is a travel sized lip gloss from Buxom, called their Full-on Lip Polish, in the shade Dolly. this sheer, shimmering lip polish makes lips look fuller and more voluptuous and also includes Vitamins A and E to help keep lips soft, smooth and protected, with a refreshing tingling sensation, The shade is a sheer wearable pink shiny gloss. It does have a slight tingle to it but nothing that is too over powering. I think that it did make my lips appear more full.

I like prefer sizes of perfume as they are handbag and travel friendly but it’s a great way to sample a scent before you buy the full size. I received Kat Von D sinner Eau de Parfum which form parts of the Saint and Sinner collection – saint is also available from Love Me Beauty and the sample. This perfume is described as dark, sultry, and empowering, this addictive fragrance is inspired by Kat’s own duality. A little sweet, a little spicy, and undeniably fearless! Cinnamon spices up vanilla and white florals at the heart of the fragrance, while base notes of vetiver, patchouli, and wood form the deeper, darker nuances. Experience confidence in a bottle – Sinner is the fragrant embodiment of the edgy, unapologetic, and outspoken Kat Von D we know and love!

Next up is the Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in the shade Cathedral. this is a matte coco rose which is lovely and ideal for every day wear. This long-wear, pigment-rich lipstick is formulated with Color Cushion Technology to keep your pout feeling comfy and velvety soft. I found this to be creamy, easy to apply and it lasted really well.

Next was Buxom Cosmetics Lash Mascara, a vitamin enriched, clump resistant formula that deepens. darkens and thickens lashes while the hourglass shaped brush evenly coats lashes, from root to tip, for perfect separation and definition. It alsio claims to be long wearing, vitamin enriched, smudge and clump resistant. I got on really well with this mascara, the want is HUGE! but it does thicken the lashes, its just a bit hard on the corners of the eyes and bottom lashes due to the size of the wand!

Finally there was also Kat Von D Setting Powder included, which is a translucent shade and is designed to lock your base in place all day as well as bluring the appearance with a velvet-matte finish. The formula is incredibly lightweight and blurs out imperfections for a super flawless finish however, I did notice that if you layered this on too much it does make your skin look overly dry. Also, while this powder claims to be translucent and friendly for all skin tones, I found that it had somewhat of a lightening and brightening effect on my face. I guess the lesson here is a little goes a long way. I have found this to be the case with different translucent powders they just take a bit more blending!

This was a lovely scented candle, its a nice relaxing scent, that definitely filled the room with fragrance. It also burned really well and lasted really well.

Another thing that I really love about Buff Natural Body Care is that they are really trying to promote been green an environmentally friendly. There products are not sold in plastic containers the products are packaged in British tooled glass and British - partially recycled aluminium lids with cardboard infills. Their labels are currently easy peel polypropylene and can be placed with plastic recycling. They want to encourage everyone to also reuse and up cycle our packaging.
