Esse Probiotic Skincare
I have been having a look at some skincare items from Esse, this is not a brand that I have been familiar with in the past, but they do look like they had some really interesting products.
I have tried three items from their collections, the first been the Body Oil, this is a truly luxurious treatment for the skin. Jojoba Oil provides intense nourishment while Baobab and Marula provide vital omegas and anti-oxidant benefits. Rapidly absorbs, leaving a velvety smooth surface without any greasiness. I have to say I think that this was my favorite product, as it has many different uses. It can be used in the bath as well as applied to the body, I have been using it on particularly dry areas, this time of year I feel my skin does need a little extra love. I have also been using it as a hair oil which has also been working really well, you do only need a small amount and it leaves my hair feeling great
You can find the body oil HERE
The next item is the Eye Contour Cream this is described as an all-round eye cream to address the main concerns around the eye area: crow’s feet, dark circles, and puffiness. This I really loved to, at the moment I don't have many concerns about wrinkles but I am conscious of making an effort to help keep my skin hydrated and protected to try and prevent them. It does really hydrate the skin and I have noticed that it has helped to reduce the puffiness from around my eyes.
You can find the Eye Cream HERE
The final item is the Intensity Serum, This is described as Esse’s answer to quick wrinkle reduction. The key ingredient is Mafane extract from the island of Reunion. This extract contains spilanthol that has the effect of relaxing muscle in a similar way to Botox. Again wrinkles are not something that at the moment I am really concerned about, but I did find that this left my skin feeling hydrated and smooth and did make my makeup sit better and I think that it lasted longer, so a thumbs up from me!
You can find the Serum HERE
The packaging on all of their products gives a really luxurious feel and I have really been enjoying incorporating them into my skin care routine!

Dewytree
KOREAN skincare is more popular than ever and Asian beauty products are being launched into the European market at record speed. Korean beauty brands are partly responsible for the boom in sheet masks, which rapidly became a big sensation in the beauty industry. One of the most recent newcomers introduced to the UK is Dewytree, a Korean skincare brand, specifically known for their sheet masks.
I was kindly sent one of their masks from the collection to try out. This was the 3 step vita capsule black mask, I have to admit that I wasn’t sure what to expect from the packaging, but I was really pleasantly suprised by the product itself.
There was as it suggests 3 steps to the mask the first been a foaming peel then the activator. Finally followed by the sheet mask. My skin did certainly feel very hydrated and moisturised after I had used the mask. There was a little bit of the product that had not absorbed into by skin but this easily sunk into my skin with a little gentle massage after l had removed the mask
You can find these for sale now in your nearest Superdrug or online HERE they are currently on 3 for 2 as well so perfect time to try them!

I have been trying out some supplements from Neurbria so I thought I would write a little bit about how I have found them. KEY INGREDIENTS
SAFFRON EXTRACT (Crocus sativus)
Cultivation of this historic herb has spread across Eurasia, with India, Iran, Spain and Greece amongst the largest producers. Pound for pound Saffron is more expensive than gold and has long been used in Persian traditional medicine as an antidepressant. Modern day research has backed up these claims and many people around the globe are now opting for Saffron ahead of traditional drugs.
RHODIOLA ROSEA
Also known as Golden Root, Rhodiola grows naturally in wild Arctic regions of Europe, Asia and North America and is an adaptogenic herb, meaning it can adapt to both emotional stress and physical effort. Used in traditional Chinese medicine over thousands of years, there is strong evidence that this powerful herb can help support a balanced, uplifted mood.
ASHWAGANDHA (Withania somnifera)
Often referred to as Indian Ginseng, this adaptogenic herb is believed to have many health benefits. As an adaptogen, it is thought to reduce mood swings by acting as a mood stabiliser and it has also demonstrated anti-anxiety type effects.
TURMERIC
A member of the Ginger family, this bright yellow aromatic powder has been used for centuries as a medicinal aid in the Middle East. There is evidence that it can boost the brain neurotransmitters, which help to regulate your mood.
COGNIZIN®
This well researched ingredient is known to have positive effects on mood. Cognizin is a precursor to both choline and the ‘reward feedback neurotransmitter’, which – when produced at increased levels – makes us feel great.
VITAMINS & MINERALS
Vitamins and minerals contribute to the daily, normal functioning of your body and deficits in these key nutrients can cause a number of health issues. Vitamin D is particularly important, as a lack of it can lead to a depressed mood. Normally your body converts sunlight into vitamin D, which is one of the reasons we often feel down during the winter months.

No, our formula is gentle and designed to be taken during everyday life. During the first 2 days you may go a little more, but will regulate very quickly. All our customers, including ourselves, take Rhubarb Complex whilst working, socialising or travelling without any problems.
Can I take it alongside any medication?
Yes, there are no contraindications with any medication.
Can I take more than 1 capsule?
You can, but there is no need as long as you are moving your bowels once or twice a day. If you aren’t, then increase to 2 capsules.
Are the supplements vegetarian friendly?
Yes, all our products are vegan and vegetarian friendly. Our ingredients are 100% natural and have been handpicked by leading herbalists, based on 85 years of expertise.
I'm pregnant/lactating. Can I still take the Rhubarb?
We would encourage you to consult with a medical practitioner before taking the Rhubarb Complex.
What if I have questions whilst taking it?
We pride ourselves on working with our customers every step of the way. We don’t just leave you once you have bought the product. We are always available via phone, email or our online chat if you have any questions.
Do I need to follow a specific diet whilst on the Rhubarb Complex?
We don’t advocate a strict diet whilst on the complex, as our products are designed to allow people to survive the 21st Century where toxins are unavoidable. However, for optimum results, we would say to avoid processed foods where possible and also to watch your intake of wheat and yeast as we find these to be the main culprits of digestive complaints.

September 2018 New Look Haul
I may have made a couple of purchases in the New look sale! I actually have not gone overboard.. for once but these were a few items that caught my eye!
First is this lovely mustard colour blazer which I thought was really different and I just love the colour for autumn. i also think that this will be a great transitional peace getting ready for the cooler autumn days.
Next up is a couple of jumpsuits. These are not something that I would normally do for, as been a bit on the shorter side... 5ft 1in :) they can be a strange fit in terms of length. These are both cropped and I think that I can get away with these, I really like them.
The first is linen material, I have to say I already have got a bit of use out of this, think I need to before it gets too cold, and it is a lovely comfortable piece, I'm really happy with it.
The final one I feel looks for more of a dressy occasion, I'm not sure why but something been darker always makes me think that! This is also a lovely fit and great quality. Think I will be getting a fair bit of wear out of these now and again next spring!

New Nails
I normally get acrylics done before I go on holiday. This year I had been just so busy, I actually ran out of time to get myself to the salon. Luckily Primark came through! Luckily I had these that I had already purchased. and they managed to last me the whole week. Not bad i'd say seeing as a lot of this was spent in the pool and on a beach!
I really love the marble and the cracked gold design. I have to say though that these were cut down significantly when I returned home, as beautiful as they are they are not the most practical!

Week exploring Gran Canaria Aug 2018
Thought I would share some images on my blog this week from my recent trip to Gran Canaria. We had a lovely week staying in Maspalomas. My sister is currently working out there she has been there since April so was lovely to be able to spend some time together.
There was another reason to celebrate to as it was my Mom's 60th Birthday whilst we were there so was lively to be able to celebrate all together.
Here are some of my favorite photos out of the 100's that we had taken over the week:

Evening Makeup Look
I have had another play around with some of my makeup, it was defiantly long overdue a good clear out. I actually enjoy having a good de-clutter of my makeup... when I am in the mood! I get to find items that I had forgot about or items that I have not used for a while. Plus a change to get rid of some that have been kept way too long!
I have still been loving Skinny Tan's tanning oil. that is what I have on here on my body. I have not used it on my face. I still love the overnight elixir when I feel that my face needs a top up.
I have been loving LOreal Paris 24HMatte Waterproof Foundation. This is a drugstore foundation that I keep on going back to and I love the finish. I have been setting my makeup with the bareMinerals BAREPRO Performance Wear powder. This has become one of my new favorites. It is a lovely coverage and certainly stays put! The highlight a blush are both from Pixi and I just love the glow!
My eye shadow is from the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette I have spoke about this before and I still love it! I am wearing some cluster eyelashes here, do wish that they were naturally this thick! My eyebrows, I have filled in with the Makeup Revolution brow pomade, still a big fan of this I have been switching between this and the Kat Von D eyebrow pencil
Lips is the Kylie Lip Kit in the shade Koko K. Think this is the first time I have spoke about this I have tried a few shades from the range. It does last well as a liquid lipstick, just not sure it is completely worth all the hype that surrounded it
Hope you have a great weekend!

Skinny Tan ..... Tone and Tan Review
I'm a bit late to try Skinny Tan, I'm not sure how it has taken me so long! My friend mentioned to me that there was an an offer on their website for their Tan and Tone, I think that they were changing their packing so are shifting the old style. This offer has now finished but there are other offers on their website such as this one:
I think that this makes it a really good deal!
I must admit that I was slightly skeptical when I first used it, because of the claims that it's 'almost impossible to streak,' however after a few times of use I am pleased to say that my tan has been even, and hasn't gone patchy at all. One of the main things I love about this product is the instant colour you get, which acts as a bit of a guide. The Skinny Tan mit is also lovely as it has an almost velvet texture to it which is so soft on the skin, plus it really blends the product in with ease.
I did purchase the roller to from their website, I have seen these in the past and actually found the idea quite funny to be using a roller to get the tan on, it looks like a paint roller! But this is actually a really good idea! especially for my back, it makes it a lot easier. I have been playing around with different methods for me it works best to spray the oil onto the roller then blend it in, so far so good its done my back better than I could ever reach with a mitt.

July 2018 Primark Haul
So I once again made a little trip to Primark, there wasn't actually anything in particular that I was looking for. I had been having a snoop on Instagram and watching several haul videos over on YouTube, and had seen some lovely items. Typically when I do this I can never find these gems in my local Primark let alone find my size!
this time however I was actually pleasantly surprised. I managed to squeeze in a visit just before England played which meant that it was lovely and quiet so was actually a present shopping experience to!
The first item is this lovely wrap around dress I was instantly drawn to the colour, I think that I have seen a blue version on some other hauls but I think for me I preferred this one and its not normally a colour that I would choose. It is a wrap around style which is a really flattering cut, I think that I will need to wear a little cami top under this or a bra let as it is still rather look cut on me!
this time however I was actually pleasantly surprised. I managed to squeeze in a visit just before England played which meant that it was lovely and quiet so was actually a present shopping experience to!

It is a wrap around style which is a really flattering cut, I think that I will need to wear a little cami top under this or a bra let as it is still rather look cut on me!
I also like that it is a good length, as I have said before I am only 5ft 1in so finding dresses that are of a flattering length can be a little bit of a challenge. For £10 I though that this was a really good buy. I'm hoping that the sunshine sticks around long enough for me to get some wear out of it now!
I almost walked passed this time, I was having a little look through the swimwear section as I am going on holiday to Gran Canaria next month. This was where I found this cover up, it was actually £5 reduced from £12 so for that price I thought I would give it a go. It will be perfect for around the pool or venturing to the restaurant lunch time!
I was again a little worried about the length, but I think that it will be fine. Its actually not a bad fit it will work fine especially with my wedged sandals.
These next couple of items are this top and shorts. I was drawn to the shorts as I loved the embroidered pattern on the sides I though that it really added something and made them look more expensive than Primark. These were however £12 and I am not sure if its just me and I am aware that that is gernally a good price for a pair of denim shorts, I feel that this may be a bit more expensive for Primark?
I loved the fact that these are high waisted as for some reason I don't own a pair of high waisted denim shorts which I know is crazy! The top I thought was a really lovely cut I love the floaty sleeves, and for £4 I thought thus was a bargain. Just need to remember a nude bra underneath it!
The next top I styled with the same shorts, its a polka dot pattern, which I really like but I love the strap detail I feel that it just makes it look that little bit different. It is rather baggy but I like the way it looks tucked in.
The final two clothing items are this mustard colored button down top and a white pair of skinny jeans. I love these two colours together. Again I brought the top a size larger as I think that it looks nicer a little bit baggier. It is a great top for the summer and I can see me using it for many outfits, this was only £4 to.
I do own a pair of skinny jeans they are my trusty Joni jeans from Topshop, I have loved wearing them but been white they have seen better days and they are actually starting to go a little bit bobbly in some areas so I thought I was time for another pair. I have got these Primark jeans in other colours before and I feel that they wear well so I am hoping that these will be the same. The only issue which is totally my fault is that I picked up a 34 inch leg! Yes what an idiot I was ready to take these back but I think that I actually like the look of the cuffed? So I might just keep these as they are. These were £9
The other none clothing item that I picked up was yet more nails! I am certainly hooked on these they are amazing for the price and I find myself using these more lately as they are so much quicker than doing my own gels, as I just don't seem to find the time anymore. The price is so much cheaper than getting them done in a salon and I do get a couple of weeks wear out of these with the glue provided!

Pixi Glow!!
I was blown away by yet another beautiful PR package from Pixi, This time it contained some gorgeous highlights and glittery eyeshadows!
First up the liquid eye shadows:
Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights Features
- Long-wearing, glimmering liquid eyeshadow
- Infused with chamomile and rose, to nourish the lids
- Delivers super fast metallic eye looks
- Uses light-reflecting, richly saturated colour pigments
- Sets to a long-lasting finish
- Can be used alone or as a shadow topper
There are available in 5 shades:
- Crystalline
- SunRay
- RoseGold
- BareBrilliance
- PassionLight
They are really easy to apply. You swipe them on to the lid, you can then gently buff out the edges with a fluffy brush. They set pretty quickly and then last really well. I didn’t get any creasing or fading for the good few hours that I was wearing it!
Next the amazing highlighter duos:
I just love a dewy look in the summer time! Especially now with all the heat, we tend to go for lighter coverage. I always love a bit of highlight. Pixi Glow-y Gossamer Duos come with two shades in each compact: light and slightly darker. The finish is amazing and flawless! You know the type of finish that usually gives you a liquid formula? That’s the one you’re getting with Pixi Glow-y Gossamer!
The first shade in Delicate Dew. The stunning lightest pink highlighter without that ‘too cool’ undertone which can sometimes look ashy and generally not a good look. This one’s perfect, very light yet very sparkly. The second is little darker, warm golden hue yet when mixed with the light pink.
The next duo called Subtle Sunrise comes with champagne and slightly darker copper shade. These shades are perfect to compliment those golden red smokey eyes. It can also be usedin the inner corner of your eyes as well as on the cheeks and the bridge of the nose! The darker shade is almost coppery.
Beautifully applied with a fan or highlighter brush, Pixi Glos-y Gossamer duos work also with the fingers thanks to the buttery texture. Whatever your method of application, you’ll find yourself with an incredible glow.
Hope you are all enjoying this lovely sunshine, i'm definitely making the most of it!
