Skinny Tan ..... Tone and Tan Review
I'm a bit late to try Skinny Tan, I'm not sure how it has taken me so long! My friend mentioned to me that there was an an offer on their website for their Tan and Tone, I think that they were changing their packing so are shifting the old style. I think that this makes it a really good deal!
I must admit that I was slightly skeptical when I first used it, because of the claims that it's 'almost impossible to streak,' however after a few times of use I am pleased to say that my tan has been even, and hasn't gone patchy at all. One of the main things I love about this product is the instant colour you get, which acts as a bit of a guide. The Skinny Tan mit is also lovely as it has an almost velvet texture to it which is so soft on the skin, plus it really blends the product in with ease.
I did purchase the roller to from their website, I have seen these in the past and actually found the idea quite funny to be using a roller to get the tan on, it looks like a paint roller! But this is actually a really good idea! especially for my back, it makes it a lot easier. I have been playing around with different methods for me it works best to spray the oil onto the roller then blend it in, so far so good its done my back better than I could ever reach with a mitt.

From looking at the packaging I was impressed, it looked really sturdy and I liked the shape of the spray nozzle, I thought that this would help create less mess.
I have tried this product a few times and though I am impressed with the end result, as I have been with the mousse version on this product. I found it to be so hard to apply. It doesn't dispense in the find spray that I was expecting, its a thicker line of products that then requires quite a lot of blending in with a mit. I found it particularly difficult to spray onto harder to reach places, so ended up just spraying it onto the mitt and applying it that way.
I washed off the top layer after sleeping in it over night, which is what I would usually do. I was impressed with the end result, it gave me a lovely even colour that lasted well. if I had a choice I find the mousse just easier to apply.

St Moriz Gradual Tanning Lotion
I have been on the look out for a new gradual tanning lotion. I have been using the loreal gradual tanner for a while now and I have really loved the results, but I found found the smell of stale biscuits a bit over-powering.

I found it to be a brilliant moisturiser if anything a little too much as I felt sticky for quite a while after. I suffer with dry skin so this did help me a little bit but even for me was a little bit too much no matter how long I rubbed the product in for.
I found the St Moriz gradual tanner in my local body care for only £4. I have heard great things about their tanning mousse online but I have always loved my St Tropez one so I thought I would give the moisturiser a go not expecting much to be honest, but I love this product! It goes on so well and isn't as sticky as the loreal one and the smell is fresh and not overseeing it's more of a citrus scent that I actually love. So far the colour payoff is perfect not too dark but perfect for building a gradual colour or like myself using it to maintain my tan between fake tans. It is wearing well and fading fairly well. I am exfoliating between uses as I shower and I haven't had any problems I will continue to use this product as I think I have found a new favourite and for the price I am converted!
