Savisto 3 in 1 hand blender set

This is something totally different for me to be logging about but I have really gone into smoothies lately. I have a large blender that I have used for a few years but I thought that something like this would be good for making a smoothie easily without having to use the big blender

Box Contains:

- Main unit with electrics & speed settings
- Blender attachment
- Food processor attachment container
- Whisk attachment
- 800ml beaker
- Instructions

The first thing I noticed was how quiet it was, I was expecting it to very loud like my other blender but it really wasn't. It’s just a quiet low noise and it was like this no matter which of the add-ons I used. I went through all the speeds and found there was barely any noise increase from one to the other, this was greet you don't want a really noisy blender first thing in the morning!!

I was able to put the container into the dishwasher which is a big plus for me I hand washed the mechanical attachments but the beaker and the food processer container are both fine in the dishwasher

I made a bannana and strawberry smoothie easily with the blender attachment it blended it up in no time at all.

I am also a fan on Sunday morning pancakes.. When I get the time to make them! But I used the whisk attachment I think it was actually easer than my usual whisk as it's just one and the whisk is a bit more flexible which isn't as noisy in a Pyrex bowl!

I am hoping that as it is so easy to do and is a lot quieter I will stay motivated to keep up with the healthier eating. The nice weather is also helping!

Aquis Essentials Hair Towel

The majority of my life I’ve had long hair and it’s always been thick. It can take hours to dry. Right out of the shower, my hair will immediately soak through a  normal towel. When using a large towel, my neck will start to hurt after just a few minutes and they never stay tucked under for a consistent, tight hold. Since I’ve been using an Aquis towel, I didn't  realise how good it was until I’m away and have to use a regular towel for my hair.

The Aquis towel is machine washable, which for me, is great, as I do my makeup before styling my hair, so I just leave it tied up in the towel, but makeup always seems to find it’s way onto my pretty towel!

Hair is incredibly vulnerable to damage when it’s wet. If you rub it at this delicate point you can do damage that no serum or shampoo can repair, thus creating dull lifeless hair that is prone to frizz and breakage. Then if you blast your hair with heat, you can do even more damage. Drying hair gently is the key to healthy hair. But this is only possible with a towel that is very absorbant such as this one.

You can purchase your towel here for £30 :

English Soap Company

I received some lovely soaps in the post from the English Soap Company as soon as I opened the package I could tell they were going to smell amazing!

The English soap Company was founded twelve years ago by Bob & Juliet after discovering a large number of vintage soap moulds lying disused in a machinery workshop farm in Kent.

Inspired by the wonderful designs from a bygone age they set out to recreate the luxurious soaps they remembered from childhood.

Their Soaps are made from pure vegetable oils to which they add generous amounts of vegetable derived glycerine and shea butter from the African Karite tree to ensure that the bar moisturises and nourishes the skin.

I received English Lavender and Lilly Of The valley but they have so many lovely fragrances to choose from.

I was really impressed with the packaging to, these would make amazing gifts. I think they look gorgeous!

I found them to be very moisturising. I have to be carful using soaps on my skin especially ones that are scented as they can make me have a flare up of exzema. These were fine though my skin didn't feel dry after using them it did a really good job of leaving my skin feeling supple.

You can puchase these soaps from the companies website:

These large soaps are priced at £5.99 which I think is amazing they are huge and have such a strong scent!

Eden's Semilla Jojoba Oil review and discounts!!

What is says:

100% Pure Jojoba Oil – 60ml – Certified ORGANIC – Best Natural Oil Moisturiser for Radiant Looking Skin, Silky Smooth Hair and Strong Nails – Ideal For Sensitive Skin – All Round Protection Day & Night – Cold Pressed & Unrefined

I had wanted to try a different oil mostly for my hair I wanted something that wasn't going to weigh down my hair but still help control the frizz. So I was excited to try this. I used a few drops in the palm of my hand after washing and towel drying my hair. I massaged this in from the nape of my neck now as I don't feel I need any kind of product near my roots. My hair is down to the small of my back so I used it on the length of my hair.

The dropper made it easy to dispense the product as some oils before have got messy when I have had to pour them out, the dropper made this a lot easier and cleaner!

I dried my hair as normal it instantly felt softer and more manageable I am looking forward to trying this a few times to see the results but so far I am very impressed with this oil on my hair.

I have also tried a small amount of this oil on my T-Zone before bed. I don't like using products that are too moisturising before doing my makeup as I don't like the feel of it all day. Using this before bed though made a massive difference to my skin in the morning it was glowing. It made applying my makeup much easier. It didn't block my pores and it doesn't have a really strong fragrance which is good for a face product for me as I don't like them to be too scented and this can trigger my eczema this was brilliant and I think it actually helped to moisturise my normally dry skin

You can purchase this oil from here:

You can also get a 1 time 50% off your purchase from Amazon using the codes below:

Lee Stafford Hair Care

'If the Earth is not nourished you'll never grow beautiful flowers'

What is it:

“Protein based complex to fertilize your follicles, creating a healthy environment on the scalp to help hair grow faster and reach its maximum potential"

How it works:

Hair goes through a natural cycle. Each strand is unanchored from it's root every 1-3 years. If you're lucky and your hair has a long cycle (3 years) the hair will grow longer than average. But if you feel your hair gets to that point (usually a couple of inches past the shoulder) were it stops growing then your hair has a shorter life cycle. This treatment prolongs the anchored phase to promote hair growth. To help this, the mask conditions the scalp, soothes dry/split ends and strengthens hair at a cellular level.

Lee Stafford were kind enough to send me some of their products to try. They sent me 3 products from their hair growth range. Now this is something that I don't really need help with I have never had a problem growing my hair. It's always been long it is currently down to the bottom of my back. But I do think this is brilliant at conditioning long hair like mine

The first thing I noticed with this product was the smell it smells amazing. It was similar to the macadamia nut oil treatments I have used in the past. It is such a lovely smell and one that lingers for a long time.

It left my hair feeling very soft and conditioned.  My hair can get a little dry and frizzy especially with he hot weather that we are having at the moment.

This is a lovely product would defiantly try more from their range, one that is more tailored to my hair type

You can purchase these here from boots they are currently on offer with 1/3 off!

Threads Beauty Lashes Makeup Look

I have always loved my red cherry lashes these are what I have been used to and stuck with for quiet a while now. I was keen to try these Theads Beauty lashes as I prefer them to have a thinner band that is easier to bed and fits more comfortably across my eye. These are as comfortable as the Red Cherry lashes which is great

The lashes I used to create this look were the be-bop lashes. They have really cool names.

I started by priming my eyes with my Collection concealer and used my Naked Smokey eye pallet starting from a light shade in the inner corner slowly getting darker towards the outer corner and into my cut crease. I used Mac reflects gold glitter over the centre of my eyelid and lined with my Essence felt eyeliner.

There is glue supplied with these lashes it had a bluish tint to it which I did find a bit strange but it actually made it a lot easier to see where I had applied it it has a kind of pearlescent sheen to it but it dried completely clear. I was a bit worried when I opened it as I had to snap the lid off to open it so I wasnt sure how i was going to reuse it! But then I saw that you can turn the lid around and it was in fact reseable. 😃 I wore these on a night out and I didn't take them off until the early hours and they didn't budge there was no edges curling up which is brilliant.

I was able to remove the lashes with my Clinique makeup remover which is what I would normally use to remove my false eyelashes. I was able to clean up the eyelashes and I am defiantly able to wear these again.

I am excited to try the rest of the range of these lashes as they all look lovely. I normally go for ones that are more natural looking I don't like any that look too dense or overly long but I think the whole collection of these is very wearable

Summer Makeup with Essence Cosmetics

Summer is here even if our wonderful British weather might not agree! But I wanted to have a play with some summery makeup looks. I have tried some of Essence Cosmetics makeup. This can be purchased at www.wilko.com. It is a very competitively priced range and I was excited to try it!

First up is this lovely eyeshadow Pallette the colours are stunning it is a perfect set of colours for me I love warm nudes such as these and I think that these have a pinkish purple tone to them makes them more summery and just a little more interesting. There is a good mix of both Matt and shimmer shades. The colour pay off is very good it does seem to be a little powdery which does leave a little fall out but this does make it easier to blend to create a smokey eye. Any fall out can easlily be wiped away. The lighter shades were perfect for highlighting I used these on my brow bones and in the inner corners I then worked my way out to the darker shades in the outer corners of my eyes and into the crease line to create the smokey eye look.

Next up is this pressed powder. This is a lovely consistency and leaves such a great Matt finish. It's very long lasting and kept my t-zone looking Matt. This was probably a bit darker than a setting powder I would normally go for as I and bronzer to contour where needed to tend to choose a lighter powder. Overall this was a lovely compact.

I am loving using lip crayons at the moment as they give so much more precision than a lipstick. This is in a lovely dark red shade. It's a velvet finish which I find is the easiest to wear as its longer lasting than a sheer finish but not as drying as a matt colour. The colour pay off is really good and it is a long lasting colour. I would normally go for darker shades on autum winter but I think that this is vibrant enough to wear throughout summer.

I had these individual lashes. I love wearing false lashes on a night out but there are some that I just can't get along with especially if the band is too thick. As these are individual lashes you can add and many or little as you like to create the desired look. I feel it gives you more flexibility. The glue provides was good it was the same as any glue I have used they comes with falsies. It held in place really well. They are different lengths with is better for creating different looks.

This is a powder brush. Soon as I saw it I fell in love with the colour it is beautiful so summery again. I like that it is smaller this is something that I will be keeping in my travel makeup bag. The brush itself is  soft and applied the makeup evenly. It's  not the softest brush that I have ever used but for price it is defiantly good  value for money. I didn't get any brissels fall out of the brush either!

The final item is this eyeliner pen. I would call it a felt tip which I love. I think the winged eyeliner look is amazing... I'm just not very good at getting them both eve if I use a brush or a pencil, as I can't get the precise.  I find using pens like this so much easier to get a perfect sharpe winged eye. It went on very well and stayed put. I wear contacts and generally mess with my eyes a lot.  Hayfever defiantly not helping me at the moment but I didn't end up with panda eyes it stayed on well considering.

Overall I think these products are amazingly priced and a really good quality I would recommend giving them a  go

Avon Big and Multiplied Review

What they say: "Achieve the ultimate look in lash fullness! Clump - and smudge

I got on really well with this mascara. I was impressed with the wand it is quiet big and a dense brush this is brilliant for creating volume on your lashes. Only thing I would say is that when it is first opened it is quite watery so is prone for clumping if you add too much too quickly. I used 2 thin coats and this was not an issues, think it just takes some practice of finding the best way of applying different mascaras as they have different consistencies. Overall this is a very good mascara that wears well and gives plenty of volume

Evening Makeup

I got time to have a play with my makeup before going out tonight. I loving having the time to experiment

I started by moisturising my skin I love the Simple light moisturiser then primed with the Loreal Paris Skin Perfection primer. I used the Nip and Fab eye roller about my eyes. I have found that this has helped to moisturise my eye area and I think it has helped with my eye bags a little to!

Next I moved onto my eyes. I primed my eyelids with some concealer I used the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in light, I find that a concealer works just as well as a eye primer and works out cheaper I can also use this under my eye.
The eyeshadows mostly came from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Pallette. Starting with strange which is the lighter shade as a highlight then limit to blend the crease and the outer corner. I built up colour in the outer corner using Mugshot and Factory. I blended it with my real techniques blending brush. I finished with Dust one the centre on the eyelid and the inner corner. I used some Bikini-Tini from Benefit, this is a champagne cream eyeshadow. I used this on the centre and the inner corner. I then finished with some Mac Reflects gold for a glittery finish. I used the Collection 2000 Extreme felt liner across my lash line, then Maxfactor Masterpiece Mascara in Black to finish my eyelashes. I felt like I didn't want to add false lashes to this look. I filled in my brows a little with the Rimmel Brown pencil in Dark Brown

Next for foundation. I have been loving Maxfactor Face Finity 3 in one foundation. Which I applied with my beauty blender. Next I concealed under my eyes with the same collection 2000 concealer. I then set this with my loose translucent powder. I gave this a bit of time to settle on the skin. Once I have brushed this away I used the Seventeen Instant Glow Bronzing Rocks under my cheeks for some contouring. I used the Makeup Revolution Golden Lights highlighter across my cheekbones and temples.

That was the finished look. I actually wore my hair straight for a change which i actually really liked
