Secret Saviours Anti-Stretch Kit
A few weeks ago I was asked if I would like to try out the Secret Saviours Anti-Stretch Mark System. When it comes to anything that may help my pregnancy, then I am always a willing participant. The kit comprises of a support band, day gel and night cream. They claim that this system makes it 70% harder for stretch marks to form, which is worth looking into alone.
I am currently 21 weeks pregnant, and we have recently found out that we are expecting a little boy which we are over the moon about!
I have started to use the kit, its still early days but I thought I would give you my initial thoughts on how I have found it.
First off the creams they smell amazing and eave my skin feeling really soft and hydrated. The day cream is a little sticky, but this is actually a good thing as it helps the band to stay in place.
I love the night cream I have been applying this before bed and again it smells divine.
I went for a small in the band itself, I am currently a UK size 6-8 and don't have much in the way of a bump. I don't find that the band is digging into me anywhere and it is giving me some great support. As I have been having issues with my joints, especially around my round ligaments and hips and I feel that so far this has definitely helped.
So far I don't have any stretch marks, but I am hoping that this will help to keep them to a minimum as by bump grows!

We have been keeping a little secret.....
We are so happy to announce we are expecting our very own little bundle of joy, due 6th September!
Things have been a little quiet on my blog and Instagram, as we have had a few issues, but little one is looking healthy and growing perfectly!
I am looking forward to moving my blog forward and including some more pregnancy and mommy related content!

Wet Brush
It has been a while again since I posted on my blog, its been a crazy few months with plenty going on!
I decided the other day that I wanted a new hairbrush, Its not something I buy very often and I have been using my trusty Primark one for a long time!
Most people probably think a brush is a brush is a brush. However if you're like me and have long, often knotty hair, you know not all brushes are created equal. Most brushes induce tears at some point While I brush my hair, even with a detangler spray, so it is safe to say I don't look forward to this process after my showers.
I have been usng the same brush I had from Primark years ago so I decided to buy one from Just My Look as they are a great price at the moment. I looked specifically for one that may help detangle. I ended up with this brush and some other flexible brush. There is no comparison and the wet brush pro wins hands down. I don't feel a thing when brushing my hair - neither when it's wet or dry. I can't even explain how this brush works, all I know is that it's a miracle. I'm planning to buy two or three more just so I never am without it.

New Look Haul 2019
I have been absent from my blog for a while! It does seem like it has been a really long time. I had a lovely break over Christmas ( that seems so long ago now!!) I managed to squeeze in a little break to Gran Canaria to spend some time with my sister, which was lovely. I am happy to actually be back into a normal routine again, and excited for the new year!
What better start to the blog in the new year that with a little haul from New Look, I always love to start the new year off with some new pieces in my wardrobe.
The first item is this lovely body suit, I normally shy away from these as I don't have a long enough torso so I have found that they don't sit right. I actually like the look of this and how it sits I think it looks quite nice a bit looser fitting on me.
Next up is this black pinafore dress, I have been wearing these a lot lately especially in the cooler weather, as I can easily layer it up with a jumper underneath. I don['t tactfully own one in black so thought this would be a great easy to wear piece. Only think I think I would have sized down on this as it is a little baggy!
I found this houndstooth print t-shirt that has gold buttons on the shoulders which I thought added a nice touch. This was also out the petite section so it also fits perfect on the length and great for wearing tucked into a skirt or trousers.
The final item was a dress that I actually thought would have been great for NYE, I then did my usual trick of wearing something completely different! I still love this dress it is a great flattering cut, and I am sure that I will be wearing it very soon for an evening out!

Esse Probiotic Skincare
I have been having a look at some skincare items from Esse, this is not a brand that I have been familiar with in the past, but they do look like they had some really interesting products.
I have tried three items from their collections, the first been the Body Oil, this is a truly luxurious treatment for the skin. Jojoba Oil provides intense nourishment while Baobab and Marula provide vital omegas and anti-oxidant benefits. Rapidly absorbs, leaving a velvety smooth surface without any greasiness. I have to say I think that this was my favorite product, as it has many different uses. It can be used in the bath as well as applied to the body, I have been using it on particularly dry areas, this time of year I feel my skin does need a little extra love. I have also been using it as a hair oil which has also been working really well, you do only need a small amount and it leaves my hair feeling great

The next item is the Eye Contour Cream this is described as an all-round eye cream to address the main concerns around the eye area: crow’s feet, dark circles, and puffiness. This I really loved to, at the moment I don't have many concerns about wrinkles but I am conscious of making an effort to help keep my skin hydrated and protected to try and prevent them. It does really hydrate the skin and I have noticed that it has helped to reduce the puffiness from around my eyes.

The final item is the Intensity Serum, This is described as Esse’s answer to quick wrinkle reduction.The key ingredient is Mafane extract from the island of Reunion. This extract contains spilanthol that has the effect of relaxing muscle in a similar way to Botox. Again wrinkles are not something that at the moment I am really concerned about, but I did find that this left my skin feeling hydrated and smooth and did make my makeup sit better and I think that it lasted longer, so a thumbs up from me!

Dewytree
KOREAN skincare is more popular than ever and Asian beauty products are being launched into the European market at record speed. Korean beauty brands are partly responsible for the boom in sheet masks, which rapidly became a big sensation in the beauty industry. One of the most recent newcomers introduced to the UK is Dewytree, a Korean skincare brand, specifically known for their sheet masks.
I was kindly sent one of their masks from the collection to try out. This was the 3 step vita capsule black mask, I have to admit that I wasn’t sure what to expect from the packaging, but I was really pleasantly suprised by the product itself.
There was as it suggests 3 steps to the mask the first been a foaming peel then the activator. Finally followed by the sheet mask. My skin did certainly feel very hydrated and moisturised after I had used the mask. There was a little bit of the product that had not absorbed into by skin but this easily sunk into my skin with a little gentle massage after l had removed the mask
