Glo White Charcoal Toothpaste
What it says from their site:
White Glo Deep Stain Remover Activated Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste is an advanced extra-strength whitening toothpaste that has been formulated to remove deep stains and discolouration. It is formulated with highly absorbent activated charcoal to trap colour particles and to help penetrate and draw out stubborn stains. The low-abrasion formula with nano-charcoal technology assures it is safe on enamel and protects against cavities.
This toothpaste comes out of the tube in a dark, charcoal colour! It foams up grey, gradually turning white. I love charcoal in my skincare, but it's not working for my teeth. The flavour is very mild but fresh which I actually prefer I don't like a toothpaste that is too strong.
I feel that it did make a bit of a difference to how white my teeth looked. My teeth were not that bad to begin with, although they could be better thanks to by slight coffee addiction! So I so think that this has helped lift some of those stains.
I also occasionally whiten my teeth with the at home whitening strips I don't like to do this to often as I know that it is not good for them. I do find that these at home kits work best if the teeth are clean and smooth before applying the whitening strips so I think that that would be a great use for this toothpaste
I have to say I am not much of a fan of the toothbrush that it comes with, i just find it a little big and too soft for my liking, not that that is an issue that is just my personal preference I mostly use my electric toothbrush

Love Me Beauty
I have recently found Love Me Beauty, which is a subscription box, but it is a little different, you get 60 credits each month so spend on items from the collection each month that you want to try.
You can become a member and receive 60 credits for you to hand-pick products from the monthly edit. The subscription is £10 per month plus £3.95 p&p, you can save money if you do a longer subscription e.g. 3 months is £9 per month 6 months is £8.
Each months choice also comes in a lovely makeup bag, which I always find handy, I also love how cute they are!
This month I was sent 4 items:
NUXE
Huile Prodigieuse Gold 10ml
NUXE
Reve de Miel Cleanser 15ml
NUXE
Gentle Exfoliating Gel with Rose Petals 15ml
Manna Kadar Beauty
LipLock Stain in the shade Poppy Pink 1.5g
I love the colour of this lip stain, it does dry matte and stays on extremely well, its not as drying as some other matte lip stains I have tried in the past. I think this is a great summery shade.
I already have the original Nuxe oil which I really love, it as some many uses and the smell is amazing. This version has some shimmer in it which is great for summer. I used this last weekend as I braved a skirt and got my legs out! It did add a lovely shimmer.
The cleanser and the exfoliater from Nuxe are also lovely, they are both a great constancy and have left my skin feeling really fresh! I'm looking forward to trying more from Nuxe's range
You can get yours HERE, I also have a discount code for 20% off your first order just use the code emmajade20

Ardell Individual Lashes
I have been interested in individual eyelash extensions for a while, day to day I generally wear mascara and save my false lashes for special occasions, mainly as I do have a hard time applying them and have an issue with them staying in place all evening.
I used the Ardell Lashtight glue in clear with these lashes. I feel that it did the job well, it does dry quickly so you have to work fast to get them into position. It does also dry very hard so I found that it was uncomfortable if applied to near eyelids. I did like the fact that I can wake up with lashes, I know that is lazy but I'm all for those few more minutes in bed in the morning.
It took me about 10 minutes to do both eyes this time. The lashes went on easily, the glue was really good and blended super well with my lashes. They looked more natural and felt comfortable on too. This was my second time using these, I think that I have found the knack of applying them now, for me they need to be close to the eyelid but not touching as this is what made them feel irritating for me. My first set lasted almost 2 weeks which I am happy with, I did need to do a couple of touch ups in that time but generally I was impressed. I used a spoolie brush to brush them out as some mornings if I had slept on them they were pointing in some strange directions.
I was impressed at how comfortable they felt as some strip lashes I find can feel a bit heavy and irritating. I like how I can apply as many as I like until I have the look I want. I think the more that you have on the heavier they will feel but I was happy with the amount that I have used and the look that it gave. This is only using the medium length lashes. I have ordered some long ones, I would like to give these a try on the outer corners, I will give these a go next time.

Pixi Glow Getters
I received some more items from the lovely people at Pixi, this time it was skincare. I have heard so many good things about the Glow Tonic it seems to be everywhere at the moment so I was excited to receive that to try. There is also the Glow Tonic To Go, which really excited me, as I am lazy when it comes to skincare and nearly always go for the easiest option, so these pre-soaked pads were appealing to me! Finally there was the Glow Mud cleanser. I have used mud masks and cleansers in the past but never something that combined the two, so I was excited to try this.
I love the idea of these pads as I have already said I am all for the easy option but I think these are also great for travelling. I have only used all of these items once so far. I will be trying to make more of an effort with my skincare especially in the evenings.
This is a Glow Tonic – described as an ‘exfoliating facial glow tonic’. It is said to help tone, firm and tighten the skin. Whilst removing dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. It’s suitable for all skin types and is alcohol free. So basically – it’s an exfoliating toner – so it removes dead skin via exfoliating chemicals rather than by scrubby bits.
Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser contains 5% glycolic acid and acts to deeply clean skin and reveal a smoother, softer complexion. It also contains moisturizing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and avocado oil!
Pixi’s Glow Mud Cleanser formula is very light. This a smooth cleanser that isn’t grainy so, it is more of a chemical exfoliating formula rather than a physical one. It doesn’t lather up. I personally didn’t feel like it worked great at removing makeup but it is a product that works well as a follow up treatment cleanser of sorts. If you double cleanse, this might be a great secondary cleanser to use or one to use on an already clean face as I didn’t feel like it broke down makeup very well.
I have to say I didn't notice much of a difference straight away, my face felt clean and almost tight but I do have to regularly use moisturiser as I do have dry skin. However I did notice after a few uses my skin looked a lot smoother and my makeup did seem to have a nicer finish
