Sexy Hair Products

Sexy Hair were kind enough to send me some of their products to try out, I have always heard good things about Sexy Hair so was looking forward to trying them out.

My hair is very thick and wavy it is currently waist length, so it takes some managing! I don't wash my hair to often, mainly as I can'r bring my self to even think about the epic task of drying my hair. I am always looking for products that are going to improve the condition of my hair without making it look greasy with too much product. I nearly always blow dry my hair, and then generally straighten it or loosely curl it. Either way there is always heat involved so I need something that will take good care of my hair.

I have been using the Leave In Conditioner for a while know I have been applying it to towel dried hair then gently brushing it though before blow drying it. It has been leaving my hair feeling so soft and a lot more manageable, as it can be prone to frizz. It doesn't weigh my hair down either which I like. The smell of it I really like it does last a long time but at the same time isn't too overpowering. I also thought that this was a decent sized bottle, even with my amount of hair I can see this lasting me a while.

I have been using the L'oreal Elnett hairspray for the longest time that has definitely been my favorite, but I think this one is a strong contender. It smells really nice and does have a decent hold. I recently tried this after curling my hair before a night out and it did last as well as the L'oreal Elnett hairspray. The only thing that I will say is that when it is first applied it can feel a little sticky, which did worry me a bit, as I had spent such a long time curling all of my hair. But it seemed to be fine once it had dried and it gave a decent amount of hold

USN Supplements Review

Something a little different on my blog today, I have some items from USN to try. I am always trying to be a little healthier, sometimes I am more successful than others!

So I thought I would give these a go. I have never really got on with protein powders that well, I have never liked the constancy, I'm not a fan of milkshakes in general. (which I know is strange!) But as far as shakes go they were nice, they mixed well and they do taste nice. They worked well for me after the gym. I think I prefer the diet range for me personally as I am not trying to bulk up. My better half did enjoy the whey protein samples though!

I have been quite good lately at keeping up with going to the gym. I am better if I go straight from work, if I go home first its game over and it wont be happening. So I do love protein bars this is something that I do use a lot, I have been loving the Quest bars these are normally the ones that I would go for, but these bars were just as nice, again I think the diet whey bar is more suited to me. They were not as hard going as a lot a bars are out there it was enjoyable.

The energy drink was a also lovely, a great pick me up before the gym, again I'm about convenience going straight to the gym from work this bottle is really handy for when you need that little boost!

Hopefully I can keep this motivation going!

The Body Shop Haul

I paid a visit to The Body Shop's website recently, as I mostly was after some bath products, these were the items that I came away with:

Raspberry Body Scrub-Gelee
The first been the Raspberry Body Scrub-Gelee, this was the main reason that I actually went looking on their website, I wanted some more scrubs, mostly for getting rid of stubborn fake tan, and prepping for a new tan. This is great for that it is a rough enough texture to get rid of the tan and preps the skin for a better application for the next tan. The smell is a amazing it is so sweet.

Raspberry Shower GelNext up I chose a couple of shower gels the fist been the Raspberry Shower Gel, this has the same great scent as the scrub which I love, it builds a nice lather and it gentle on my skin

Vineyard Peach Shower GelThis is from the same range of shower gels the Vineyard Peach Shower Gel is equally as lovely and I love the fresh peachy scent.

Spiced Apple Foaming BathI had some of this Spiced Apple Foaming Bath for Christmas and I loved the smell. It really foams up nicely in the bath to. I couldn't resist stocking up on another bottle especially as it was in the sale.

English Dawn Gardenia Fragrance MistI thought I would try this English Dawn Gardenia Fragrance Mist as sometimes I don't wear perfume and some body mists are a good alternative. this does last surprisingly well and has a fresh floral scent.

Honeymania™ Bubble Bath MeltI was curious as to what this product was the Honeymania™ Bubble Bath Melt, seems to be a thicker bubble bath? It is a really lovely product that smells lovely. It is a sweet honey scent and again bubbles up nicely

Honeymania™ Hand CreamI wanted a smaller hand cream that I could keep on my desk at work so I grabbed the Honeymania Hand Cream. It is a nice constancy. It does take a while to absorb into the skin, but does leave my hands feeling hydrated.

Almond Nail And Cuticle Oil
The final item is the Almond Nail And Cuticle Oil, I picked this up as I do do my gel manicures a lot but I never pay attention to my cuticles which I know is bad for the skin. So i thought I would give this a go. it seems to dot he job. the application is really easy due to the design of the pen.

Lip Monthly

This is my review of the Lip Monthy subscription box. You can get this for £13.59 it ships from the US. It contains 4 full sized products.

You can find their products and purchase the subscription box from here: https://lipmonthly.com/

Model Co Lipstick in the shade Truffle - £13.63
This is a really lovely pinky nude colour, it is a glossy finish which is really hydrating. I love the packaging of this product, it is really sleek, I prefer the thinner lipsticks, I find them easier to hold.

Sugar Crayon in the shade Poison Ivy - £13.73
I would class this as a matte shade, it is really pigmented and as this is quite a dark shade a little goes a long way!

Cosmoholic Gloss in the shade Mysterious Mocha - £10.02
This is a liquid lipstick, but it is a lot more moisturising than some that I have used in the past. It also has a mirror on the side of the bottle which I thought was a really nice touch.

Cargo Eye shadow in the shade St Tropez - £12.83
This is a natural beige shade, it is slightly shimmery, I found it to be really blendable and had a good colour pay off. This is the sort of neutral shade that I would tend to go for, so i'm sure I will be getting plenty of use out of this.
