Missguided £3 Glitch Try On Haul

So for once I actually managed to be online when I saw there was a pricing glitch, this was for Missguided. I saw on social media that there a lot of item on their website were listed as £3, so naturally I had to take a look, not really expecting much, normally I can not find anything that I like or they are out of my size if I manage to catch a deal like this. This time however I was rather lucky!

Here I will show you some of the dresses that I managed to get. I was very impressed I have always loved Missguided and these for £3 each was definitely a bargain. I also have a delivery pass with them so they arrived very quickly...and for free!

The first dress is probably not very summer appropriate been long sleeved and a rather thick velvet fabric, It is however a lovely flattering fit, I think I will be getting a lot of wear out of this in the cooler months .

Next is this lovely lace skater style dress. I love this style I think it is the perfect wedding guest outfit (Handy as I have a few coming up over the next few months) The only thing I will say is that I think that this come up a  little bit big on me, it seems bigger than their usual sizing. There is however adjustable straps, which for people like me with a smaller chest its a good thing!

Here is a lovely LBD, it was described as denim and it definitely a thicker fabric which I do think is lovely it feels great quality. It also has a chunky metal zip on the back! Can we just take a moment to appreciate that! I hate that some lovely dresses are ruined by a cheap plastic zip that always manages to get stuck! Nothing worse when you are tying to get out your dress after a night out. This zip glides like a dream! The only critisizm if any, ( as I do really love this dress) is the lace on the side kind of sticks out, I'm sure a good iron can sort that out though!

This is a lovely little grey summer dress, I tend to gravitate towards grey! Its nice and thin a great day dress. Its also a great lengh on me, this style sometimes is too long, this is a perfect length. This one howeber is a little snug I would have probably sized up if I had the choice again, as I would probably wear this as a more casual dress and a girl likes to be comfy!

Last but not least is this lovely lace dress, there is so much detail on here, I believe this should have been the most expensive of them all and its clear to see why. It fits great and is very flattering. Again it feels great quality, back to the plastic zips i'm afraid bit it does move pretty smoothly. The tassel detailing is just beautiful and really makes it looks different from other back dresses that I currently own.

Definitely keep you eye out for a deal like this again, I'm not sure whether it was intentional to clear old stick or was genuinely a glitch either way I'm one happy girly, Hope you managed to grab some bargains to!

You can find these and more dresses here

Churnet Valley Railway

Had a bit of a busy time this week, so thought I would do something a bit different and share some photos of the lovely little Churnet Valley Railway which we recently visited.

Had such a lovely time, there is something special about spending time with loved ones outside on a sunny day! It was so tranquil and everything seemed and a slower pace, which was quite refreshing from the daily grind!

Freshly Cosmetics....

I have received some products to try from Freshly Cosmetics, which I was extremely excited to try out!

Freshly Cosmetics, is hugely popular in Spain, where it originates from, and it is now available in the UK

The first item is the Multi-Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer:
What it says on their website:

The Multi-Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer incorporates the latest natural technology in moisturising and skin stress reduction. Composed by a powerful extract of xerophytic plants and vegan hyaluronic acid, this facial cream increases by 115% skin hydration. Applying innovative approach: Mexican Agastache plant is introduced to reduce redness and inflammation related to psychological stress. You will love its texture, its application and its effectiveness!

Key points:

1. Prevents and repairs skin ageing thanks to the high concentration of polyphenols from lingonberry.

2. 24-hour moisturizer. The complex of vegan hyaluronic acid and xerophytic plants increases skin hydration by 115%.

What I thought:

I found this to be a really light moisturiser, which I prefer. I hate feeling greasy especially in these summer months. It also does not have an overpowering scent which I like its light and fresh. It does leave my skin feeling really hydrated. A bonus is the pump, I love any product that has a pump!

The next items are the Haircare Detox Plan:
What it says on their website:

This is the essential plan for a hair full of health. It includes the Detox Antifrizz Conditioner and the Detox Refreshing Shampoo that completely detoxifies hair from silicones and sulphates. Together they create synergies in each of the stages of hair growth, improving the health of the hair follicle and preserving fibre as it grows. The shampoo provides a gentle wash with refreshing ingredients that reduce itching and irritation like natural menthol. The conditioner incorporates a natural polar rose matrix technology that combats frizz and protects the fibre from external agents. It’s time to show off your healthy mane!

The keys:

1. Completely eliminates the dependence of silicones and sulphates making the hair last longer clean.

2. Improves the structure and health of the hair with repairing agents and antioxidants like rooibos tea, organic coconut oil and horse chestnut.

3. Blocks moisture, fights frizz and enhances brightness thanks to the complex of polar rose and apple cider vinegar.

What I thought:

I have really thick waist length hair which I have mentioned in previous blog posts so I definitely need something that will tame my hair which can be really prone to friz!  I actually used this after a swim, as I thought that this would put it to the test, as my hair feels at its most dry after the chlorine! I loved both these products, they really left my hair feeling clean and smooth without weighing it down!

You can currently find their products Here, there is a UK version of the site available very soon. This is one that I will be keeping an eye out for!

Pixi Beauty Line and Lash Love

This box contained Pixi’s Black Lacquer Lash Primer, Large Lash Mascara, Lash Line Ink, Eye Define Waterline, Eye Bright Liner, and four colors of the Endless Silky Eye

There is a  Eye Bright Liner, which is a nude shade that helps brighten your eyes when used on the inner rim. It does a great job of making my eyes look bigger. I found this a little more subtle than A white that I have used in the past to create the same effect.

The Lash Line Ink is probably my favorite product, I do like to do a small flick on the outer corner of my eye, and I have always preferred to do that with a felt liner. I just find it a lot easier as there is more control. This too had great staying power and no smudging.

I was curious about the Black Lacquer Lash Primer, as I’ve never tried a primer for my eyelashes before. The only ones I have used, which was years ago think this was a Maybelline one? That had a white end and then a black coat that went over the top. Have to say I never really got the hang of that! The brush is really unusual, and was designed to define and volumise.  It’s kind of like a brush/comb that does a great job of getting each lash and helping to separate.  The primer actually looks pretty decent on its own, even without mascara.

I have tried this on my eyelid as an eyeliner and also on my lower lid, The color has great pigment payoff, and glides really well and no smudging. I love the fact that these are both retractable, so no need for a sharpener, so great for the handbag!

I also received the Endless Silky Eye Pen in Velvet Violet, Black Blue, Matte Mulberry, and Rose Glow. These glide on really easily I would compare them to the Urban Decay liners, but they’re much more affordable.  They’re also long-lasting, and I didn’t notice any smudging. Which is good for me as I always seem to smudge my eye makeup especially when I am wearing my contact lenses.
